Rules

Rules and Regulations

  • If a rider who calls two minutes is not on the track surface within the allotted time, they will not race.
  • If you enter the track after the two minutes are up and the green flag is out, you will be DQ’d for that race.
  • No physical fighting. Automatic disqualification for the event at minimum.
  • All riders must assess and ride to their own ability according to the race course/track.
  • Riders under 18 must have race and release forms signed. If a parent/guardian is not present, a notarized waiver release form is required for that event.
  • Sign up (including payment) must be completed before 10:30 AM. Otherwise a $5 late fee applies.
  • Check line up sheets and confirm you are in the correct class. You have 15 minutes after the race order is posted to make additions or corrections.
  • If a red flag is called on the final lap, the race will end and positions will be finalized based on the previous lap.
  • No one enters the track on a red flag unless approved by the head flagger or staging gate. If you enter without permission, your rider will start on the back line.
  • A protest must be entered within 30 minutes of completion of that specific main race, by a person in that same race.
  • SVCC does not supply medical insurance. Riders must carry their own insurance.
  • If you swap machines, are late to staging (after the two minute rule), or jump the line, you’ll be sent to the back line.
  • Two minute rule is only valid if called when the rider is next race up or on the line. If a rider leaves staging without telling an official, they will not get a two minute wait.
  • Pets must be on a leash.
